Remember that train shooting in Paris a month or two ago where two Americans stopped the attack before anything happened? Well, this new shooting in Oregon happened at the teeny tiny community college one of those Americans, Alek Skarlatos, attends. Only he was not there, because he was doing a rehearsal for "dancing with the stars". Figure the odds. Nuff said, this one is in the bag. And I just don't want to waste my time with another hoax shooting LIKE THE BAT MAN SHOOTING, A PROVEN HOAX, THEY RELEASED THE PHOTOS OF THE THEATER AND IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THEM CHECK THIS OUT!

UPDATE: Shooting hoax confirmed many times over, the above washed 100 percent true and parents of victims are asking how on earth the story line could possibly be plausible. I think tptb actually murdered people this time, but the story line is so hoakey it can't be what actually happened. And mister "I saved a train in Paris" is some sort of agent in the middle of a criminal (and probably murdering) cesspool. He should be busted and tortured for answers.

10/03/2015 — Air Force creates storm with Powerful Microwave Pulses from NEXRAD WEATHER RADAR by Michael Janitch (This post contains several larger .gif images of RADAR - please allow for load time) _____ October 3, 2015 A series of long duration high power microwave pulses were emitted from the Laughlin Air Force Base NEXRAD weather RADAR in Southwest Texas. A review of the actual NEXRAD RADAR feeds show some very interesting activity taking place from this military base weather RADAR. Below is an animated GIF from the NWS RADAR feed  (18mb file size): _______ The powerful microwave energy pulses from the RADAR station caused electron cascade (stripping of electrons) in the atmosphere. This electron cascade process is proved to cause plasma heating in the atmosphere reaching above multiple hundreds of degrees.   Additionally, the ions which are stripped can produce MOISTURE condensation (CCN - Cloud Condensation Nuclei) which is the precursor to rain formation. Above: US Navy used the HAARP (IRI in Alaska) to produce a long duration multiple KM wide electron cascade plasma bubble, heated multiple hundreds of degrees and sustained for over an hour using pulses of energy in the low MHz range. This actual picture shows the infrared view of the plasma airglow "ring" or bubble caused by the transmission. ________ The plasma formed from the electron cascade also reflects RADAR microwave signals like a mirror in the sky -- thus the large "clouds" of stripped electrons actually reflect back the same RADAR signals which created the cascade to begin with. As the electrons are stripped, the electron cloud grows, ultimately reflecting MORE energy as the intensity of the pulses induce the process.  The precipitation return grows exponentially higher as the pulses continued -- producing well over 20 inches of detected rainfall. Notice below, how the rainfall amounts flare up each time the pulses occur. See the numbers on the right hand side of the screen grow exponentially larger as the electron cloud flares up and reflects BACK the signal  !  Amazing! View of the storm total precipitation detected by the RADAR: Here is a view of the 1-hour storm total precipitation: _______ If we review the VIL (Vertical Integrated Liquid) information from this NEXRAD RADAR energy pulse, you will see the VIL starts at near nothing, and then as the plasma cloud grows, the reflected "liquid" also begins to grow. As the pulses stop, the "liquid" disappears -- again proving this is electron cascade NOT real precipitation like "rain". People might be very surprised to find out this is not real rain. Even though RAIN and HAIL do indeed show up on the Hydrometer Classification, nothing is physically there! America is already in the throes of its next Great Depression

While the Obama administration and their mainstream surrogates maintain that the economy is growing at a booming pace, the reality of the situation is starkly different.
According to a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics some 94.6 million Americans (age 16 and over) are either not working or have made no effort to find a job. With a population of 320 million, that means nearly one in three people in the United States are currently out of work.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that a record 94,610,000 people (ages 16 and over) were not in the labor force in September. In other words they were neither employed nor had made specific efforts to find work in the prior four weeks.
The number of individuals out of the work force last month — due to discouragement, retirement or otherwise — represented a substantial 579,000 person increase over the most recent record, hit in August, of 94,031,000 people out of the workforce.

Curiously, the official unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.1%, suggesting that some 95% of people actually have jobs.
But as we’ve repeatedly pointed out, that number has been completely skewed over the last two decades as it fails to account for people who have stopped looking for work (because there are no actual jobs available).
According to John Williams of Shadow Stats, if we were to calculate unemployment using the same metrics as we did during the 1930’s, or even the 1980’s, we’d already be in Great Depression territory. Williams, who utilizes a reporting methodology that accounts for “long-term discouraged workers who were defined out of official existence in 1994,” notes that the real unemployment rate is rapidly approaching 25%. 



Now compare the above chart to similar measurements from the 1930’s and you’ll see just how bad things really are:

It’s so bad, in fact, that we have seen sustained unemployment exceeding that of the Great Depression for almost the entirety of Barack Obama’s Presidency.
But how can it be possible to have a full-fledged recovery and record stock prices when nearly one-third of the adult population is not working?
If the government is to be believed, it’s because our economy continues to grow at a pace of about 2%.
But once again, if we calculate the real growth rate and adjust for inflation, we see exactly why jobs are non-existent and getting worse every month.
The following chart made available by Williams shows that despite a positive “official” GDP growth rate being disseminated to the public, the reality is exactly the opposite. The U.S. economy is by all accounts shrinking and has been doing so for the better part of a decade: 



We’ve already witnessed numerous shocks to the global economy over recent weeks and the prospects of any sort of stability just went out the window.
There is no recovery. There are no jobs. There is no growth.
The United States, regardless of what is being said by mainstream financial pundits or believed by their TV-watching myrmidons, is now (and has been for quite some time) in a recession.
What’s worse is that most have no clue of how bad things really are or that they are witnessing America’s Second Great Depression.
We have seen many prognostications of what might happen in the Fall of 2015 and beyond. For now, we have avoided the Doomsday event many have feared.
But as The Prepper’s Blueprint author Tess Pennington notes, this doesn’t mean we should ignore the real possibility of a wide breadth of potential outcomes from economic malaise and geo-political tensions:

So the world didn’t end, but we should face the facts that our world is exponentially changing. In the last ten years, it has changed so dramatically that many of us do not recognize it.
Riots, extreme climate changes, epidemics, unemployment, political upheaval, I could go on, but I think you get the picture. These changes are the events you should prepare for. Preparing for a singular event is impractical and will leave you exposed and with gaps in your preparedness plan. 
That said, if your preps were well-rounded enough, you can insulate yourself from many different forms of disasters: natural, personal, economic, societal, etc. Once you are prepared for a multitude of events, you don’t worry as much. There are always events that are out of our control. The only control we have is to be ready for them the best we can by being prepared, self-reliant, not depending on the system, and changing our perception about disasters.

Scientist from Iran Dr. Mehran Tavakoli (M.T.) Keshe predicting major earthquake(s) 10+ to split California (Just like the Gulf of California) and some other surrounding areas. He says it could be on land or if its in the water there will be a massive tsunami. Also, he says the North and South American continents will separate with an earthquake perhaps even larger than the one in California. “Its so big it will separate two continents. Based off of his plasma/field forces model with the earth’s inner core, the plates and the sun. He refuses to give a date, but he has one in mind. He makes it sound like its happening very soon. He said the probability of it happening in the autumn/fall is more likely than the summer, or winter (based off of the field forces of the sun/plates/earth’s inner core) and he says if it doesn’t happen this year, it will happen next.

Also, one video I found interesting from another person comparing the different months of the year to show that Summer has less 8.0+ earthquakes since 1900 than most other months of the year and that Fall and Spring have some of the highest in numbers (Except October). On Wednesday, Attorney General Loretta Lynch

announced at the United Nations that her office would be working in several American cities to form what she called the Strong Cities Network (SCN), a law enforcement initiative that would encompass the globe.
(USA corp forming this new group to control the entire planet?)

This amounts to nothing less than the overriding of American laws, up to and including the United States Constitution, in favor of United Nations/NWO laws that would henceforth be implemented in the United States itself – without any consultation of Congress at all.

The United Nations is a sharia-compliant world body and Obama, speaking there just days ago, insisted that “violent extremism” is not exclusive to Islam (which it is). 

Obama is redefining jihad terror to include everyone but the jihadists. So will the UN, driven largely by the sharia-enforcing Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the pro-Islamic post-American President Obama, use a “global police force” to crush counter-jihad forces?

So if the local and municipal effort to counter the euphemistic and disingenuous “violent extremism” is inadequate and hasn’t developed “systematic efforts are in place to share experiences, pool resources and build a community of cities to inspire local action on a global scale,” the (Nazis NWO) feds – and the UN – have to step in. 
Thus the groundwork is being laid for federal and international interference down to the local level. 

“The Strong Cities Network,” Lynch declared, “will serve as a vital tool to strengthen capacity-building and improve collaboration” – i.e., local dependence on federal and international authorities. Lynch made the global (that is, United Nations [Nazi NWO]) involvement clear when she added: “As we continue to counter a range of domestic and global terror 'threats', this innovative platform will enable cities to learn from one another, to develop best practices and to build social cohesion and community resilience here at home and around the world.”

This internationalist character was brought to the fore by the fact that the Strong Cities Network was launched on September 29 not at the White House or the Department of Homeland Security, or at the FBI headquarters or anywhere else that might be fitting for a national project, but at the United Nations.

Even more ominously, the DoJ press release says that the Strong Cities Network “will strengthen strategic planning and practices to address violent extremism in all its forms by fostering collaboration among cities, municipalities and other sub-national authorities.” 
(Islam IS 'EXTREMISM' but it won't be the targeted enemy; the enemy will be Christianity, patriots, those who will fight for the nation, for the constitution, for common law - these will be the 'extremeists'.)

Sub-national and international: the press release then quotes Governing Mayor Stian Berger Røsland of Oslo, Norway, a participant in the Strong Cities Network, saying: “To counter violent extremism we need determined action at all levels of governance. To succeed, we must coordinate our efforts and cooperate across borders. The Strong Cities Network will enable cities across the globe pool our resources, knowledge and best practices together and thus leave us standing stronger in the fight against one of the greatest threats to modern society.”

But what is that greatest threat, exactly? 

Remember, the DoJ presser says that the SCN will “address violent extremism in all its forms.” It also says that it will aid initiatives that are working toward “building social cohesion and resilience to violent extremism.” “Building social cohesion” is a euphemism for keeping peace between non-Muslim and Muslim communities – mostly by making sure that non-Muslims don’t complain too loudly about, much less work against, rapidly expanding Muslim populations and the Islamization of their communities.

The DoJ presser noted that at the launch of the Strong Cities Network, “welcoming remarks” would be offered by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein (Saudi Arabia - one of the WORST human rights offender on this planet - appointed by the handlers of the bozo regime) and Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York City. The involvement of New York City’s Marxist internationalist mayor is yet another warning sign.  (HOW did this Marxist get in to a power position in NY - or anywhere else?)

Agricultural Workers Diagnosed With Cancer Sue Monsanto

Lawsuit says Monsanto misled the public about the dangers of Roundup

Monsanto is being sued again, this time by 2 separate agricultural workers who allege the agribusiness’ Roundup herbicide caused their cancers.

The farm worker and horticultural assistant also say Monsanto intentionally misled the public and regulators about the dangers of Roundup.

Enrique Rubio, 58, filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on September 22. Rubio, a former farm worker in California, Texas and Oregon, dutifully sprayed fields of cucumbers, onions and other vegetable crops with Roundup and other pesticides until 1995 when he was diagnosed with bone cancer according to the lawsuit.

The second suit was filed by Judi Fitzgerald, 64, also on September 22 in federal court in New York. The suit alleges that Fitzgerald was exposed to Roundup in the 1990’s when she was working at a horticultural products company. She was diagnosed with leukemia about 3 years ago.

Fitzgerald’s lawsuit states:

“Monsanto assured the public that Roundup was harmless. In order to prove this, Monsanto championed falsified data and attacked legitimate studies that revealed its dangers. Monsanto led a prolonged campaign of misinformation to convince government agencies, farmers and the general population that Roundup was safe.”

Both lawsuits claim that Roundup was a “defective” product and “unreasonably dangerous” to consumers, and that Monsanto knew or should have known that glyphosate – the main chemical in Roundup – could cause cancer and other illnesses and injuries, and failed to properly warn users of the risks. 

Additionally, the lawsuits allege that the Environmental Protection Agency altered an initial classification for glyphosate from “possibly carcinogenic to humans” to “evidence of non-carcinogenicity in humans” after Monsanto pressured them to do so. Though the EPA likely knew glyphosate was carcinogenic for some time as well. 

Six months ago, the World Health Organization, citing several studies showing links between cancer and glyphosate, said that glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic to humans.” Monsanto says the findings are incorrect.

“Decades of experience within agriculture and regulatory reviews using the most extensive worldwide human health databases ever compiled on an agricultural product contradict the claims in the suit which will be vigorously defended,” spokeswoman Charla Lord told Reuters.

In early September, California’s Environmental Protection Agency announced that it planned to add glyphosate to a list of known carcinogens. Roundup may even be required to carry a cancer-label in CA soon. 

Additionally, a 2012 ruling against Monsanto was upheld by an appeals court in Lyon, France. The company had been found guilty of poisoning farmer Paul Francois. Monsanto says it will appeal the decision. 

There are numerous other pending lawsuits against Monsanto.

CONSUMERS NEED LEMON LAWS TO COVER SMART METERS DAMAGE

How come there are no Lemon Laws pertaining to Smart Meters for electric, natural gas and water meters that utility companies are forcing onto customers? Isn’t that a reasonable question to ask of state legislators and the legal system, especially when electric utilities deny damage done to homes from smart meter fires and/or explosions?

What’s a “Lemon Law,” you may be asking. Well, it’s a state law (all 50 U.S. states have them) that “provide[s] a remedy for purchasers of cars and other consumer goods in order to compensate for products that repeatedly fail to meet standards of quality and performance.” [1] There’s even a federal lemon law, too, enacted in 1975 that protects citizens of all states. [1] 

However, there seems to be a conundrum regarding smart meters and the law, which is:

NO party (or parties) wants to be held legally and financially liable for ALL damage caused by smart meter fires, explosions and other physical damage to a building that has been retrofitted with a smart meter, even though the utility will replace the smart meter!

Furthermore, there are no warranties that come with smart meters, nor are they UL-approved—probably because they are made with so many plastic parts, which are heat sensitive and prone to “hot socket” events. Additionally, no fire-detection or fire–warning device is on a smart meter. How come there are ordinances requiring smoke alarms for all buildings but nothing to warn consumers when the smart meter on their house will blow or ignite?

Utilities routinely ‘farm out’ smart meter installation and that presents another legal problem as to who is responsible for smart meter damages: the utility or the subcontractor. Homeowners report that their homeowners’ policies insurance companies reject smart meter fire damage claims, which the utilities state are the homeowners’ faults! Wait a minute! Who installed the smart meter to begin with, and in many cases, without consumers’/homeowners’ knowledge or informed consent. Here’s a case in point that happened in Yardley, Pennsylvania, and which I wrote about: “Smart Meters Fire Living Hell and Bureaucratic Messes.”

Pennsylvania Smart Meter Awareness (PASMA) just put out a Press Release, which was emailed to all members of the Pennsylvania State Legislature that explains why a Smart Meter Lemon Law is needed and asks for one to be introduced and enacted in Pennsylvania. Here’s that Press Release, which I would encourage consumers in every state to use as a template to lobby your state legislator to introduce such a bill/legislation.

WHERE’S PENNSYLVANIA’S “LEMON LAW” REGARDING SMART METERS?

Recently, a study of Smart Meters for electric, natural gas and water usage was undertaken at two—not one, but two—universities, the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago Booth School, which confirmed that Smart Meters are very unlikely to benefit the consumer—the basis for their roll out was to enable consumers to save money and utility consumption—plus not benefit the environment either.

One classic example of fraudulent Smart Meter sales pitching is that consumers are not able to save money, and may be paying more like in Ontario, Canada. Bremen University published a study in July 2015 showing how time varying rates implemented through mass deployment of smart meters can lead to consumers demands and ‘avalanches’ resulting in smart grid blackouts. Furthermore, the Bremen research team contends that the smart meter scheme “has not been thought out thoroughly.”

What about the safety issues regarding Smart Meters fires, explosions, “dirty electricity” running through homes’ wiring, and non-thermal adverse health effects from the microwave technology that runs Smart Meters? In state after state across the USA and in Canada, Smart Meter fires, explosions, etc. have been documented by local fire departments and yet no one takes that problem seriously, e.g., a defective product that should be covered by a “Lemon Law” so homeowners can have legal recourse against utility companies who emphatically deny responsibility for the damage caused after retrofitting Smart Meters. Is that corporate criminal activity?

Lemon Laws provide remedies at state levels for Americans who purchase cars and other consumer goods that repeatedly fail to meet quality standards and/or expected performance levels, especially in the area of safety.

Smart Meters fall into the category of a “forced-consumer-product” that’s a true lemon and should be taken off the market and replaced with safe, effective analog meters, which have proven themselves safe, cost effective and reliable for decades.
PASMA calls upon the Pennsylvania State Legislature to enact Smart Meter Lemon Law legislation along with passing a Smart Meter Opt-Out Law to protect all Pennsylvanians from being ripped off by utility companies, and/or possibly burned out of their homes by unsafe, plastic parts Smart Meters.

If huge utilities like PECO/Exelon in Pennsylvania are forcing unsafe products (smart meters) on consumers, then there has to be some legal recourse for damages from their products and services. Utilities are not Big Pharma, which gets away with murder—literally—from vaccine damage and are not held legally liable!

Consumers must take back their power from being victimized by corporate lobbyists’ liaisons with federal and state government agencies.

MONTANA LAW TAKING ON FEDERAL MILITARIZATION OF POLICE NOW IN EFFECT

Today, a law that will heavily diminish the impact of federal programs militarizing local police in Montana went into effect.

Introduced by Rep. Nicholas Schwaderer (R-Superior), House Bill 330 (HB330) bans state or local law enforcement from receiving significant classes of military equipment from the Pentagon’s “1033 Program.” It passed by a 46-1 vote in the state Senate and by a 79-20 vote in the state House. Gov. Steve Bullock signed the bill into law in April.

Schwaderer told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle he was  surprised Bullock signed the bill. He said he feared the governor would cave in to law enforcement lobbyists who opposed the legislation and veto the bill.

I’m incredibly pleased. In the latter part of the session you see so much partisanship so it’s heartening to see that both Democrats and Republicans could get behind it. It’s no lightweight bill. It substantially changes policy in a way that strengthens the civil liberties of Montanans.

The new law prohibits state or local law enforcement agencies from receiving armored drones, weaponized, or both; aircraft that are combat configured or combat coded; grenades or similar explosives and grenade launchers; silencers; and “militarized armored vehicles” from federal military surplus programs.

But, as The Guardian reported last fall, handouts of such equipment from the Pentagon aren’t the only way the federal government militarizes local police. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grants used to purchase such equipment amount to three times the value of the equipment given away by the Pentagon.

HB330 closes this loophole by banning law enforcement agencies from purchasing such military equipment with federal grants. They could continue to purchase them, but would have to use state or local funds, and the agencies would have to give public notice within 14 days of a request for any such local purchase.

“This foundation sets a massive precedent in Montana and the country as to what kind of society we want to have,” Schwaderer said of his bill. “If you get to the point where you need a grenade launcher, we’ve got the National Guard.”

Last March, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie signed a bill into law that, while not as comprehensive as the Montana bill, prohibits receipt of equipment from the 1033 program without an express authorization from the local governing body. This made his state the first to take a step towards stopping the federal militarization of police.

“By making it a local decision, the New Jersey law is a great first step, but the Montana law takes things to the next level,” Tenth Amendment Center national communications director Mike Maharrey said. “It closes loopholes and covers almost all the bases. The next step would be to expand the equipment banned, and we’re hopeful that good people in Montana will work on that next session.”

FEDERAL SURPLUS AND GRANT MONEY

 

Through the federal 1033 Program, local police departments procure military grade weapons, including automatic assault rifles, body armor and mine resistant armored vehicles – essentially unarmed tanks. Police departments can even get their hands on military helicopters and other aircraft.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) runs the “Homeland Security Grant Program,” which in 2013 gave more than $900 million in counterterrorism funds to state and local police. According to a 2012 Senate report, this money has been used to purchase tactical vehicles, drones, and even tanks with little obvious benefit to public safety. And, according to ProPublica, “In 1994, the Justice Department and the Pentagon funded a five-year program to adapt military security and surveillance technology for local police departments that they would otherwise not be able to afford.”

Local agencies almost never have the funds needed to purchase this kind of equipment, and federal money is the only way they can afford it. By banning purchases with federal funding, HB330 would effectively nullify the effect of such federal “grant” programs.

COMMAND AND CONTROL

“Arming ‘peace officers’ like they’re ready to occupy an enemy city is totally contrary to the society envisioned by the Founders,” said Michael Boldin of the Tenth Amendment Center. “They’ve turned ‘protect and serve’ into ‘command and control.’”

In the 1980s, the federal government began arming, funding and training local police forces, turning peace officers into soldiers to fight in its unconstitutional “War on Drugs.” The militarization went into hyper-drive after 9/11 when a second front opened up – the “War on Terror.”

By stripping state and local police of this military-grade gear and requiring them to report on their acquisition and use, it makes them less likely to cooperate with the feds and removes incentives for partnerships.

“Sunshine is the salve of good government,” Schwaderer said.

That is exactly what HB330 will start to bring to Montana.

Launch of Strong Cities Network to Strengthen Community Resilience Against Violent Extremism

Cities are vital partners in international efforts to build social cohesion and resilience to violent extremism.  Local communities and authorities are the most credible and persuasive voices to challenge violent extremism in all of its forms and manifestations in their local contexts.  While many cities and local authorities are developing innovative responses to address this challenge, no systematic efforts are in place to share experiences, pool resources and build a community of cities to inspire local action on a global scale.  

“The Strong Cities Network will serve as a vital tool to strengthen capacity-building and improve collaboration,” said Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch.  “As we continue to counter a range of domestic and global terror threats, this innovative platform will enable cities to learn from one another, to develop best practices and to build social cohesion and community resilience here at home and around the world.”

The Strong Cities Network (SCN)  – which launches September 29^th at the United Nations – will empower municipal bodies to fill this gap while working with civil society and safeguarding the rights of local citizens and communities.

The SCN will strengthen strategic planning and practices to address violent extremism in all its forms by fostering collaboration among cities, municipalities and other sub-national authorities.

“To counter violent extremism we need determined action at all levels of governance,” said Governing Mayor Stian Berger Røsland of Oslo while commenting on their participation in the SCN.  “To succeed, we must coordinate our efforts and cooperate across borders.  The Strong Cities Network will enable cities across the globe pool our resources, knowledge and best practices together and thus leave us standing stronger in the fight against one of the greatest threats to modern society.”

The SCN will connect cities, city-level practitioners and the communities they represent through a series of workshops, trainings and sustained city partnerships.  Network participants will also contribute to and benefit from an online repository of municipal-level good practices and web-based training modules and will be eligible for grants supporting innovative, local initiatives and strategies that will contribute to building social cohesion and resilience to violent extremism.

The SCN will include an International Steering Committee of approximately 25 cities and other sub-national entities from different regions that will provide the SCN with its strategic direction.  The SCN will also convene an International Advisory Board, which includes representatives from relevant city-focused networks, to help ensure SCN builds upon their work.  It will be run by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), a leading international “think-and-do” tank with a long-standing track record of working to prevent violent extremism: 

“The SCN provides a unique new opportunity to apply our collective lessons in preventing violent extremism in support of local communities and authorities around the world”, said CEO Sasha Havlicek of ISD.  “We look forward to developing this international platform for joint innovation to impact this pressing challenge.”

“It is with great conviction that Montréal has agreed to join the Strong Cities Network founders,” said the Honorable Mayor Denis Coderre of Montreal.  “This global network is designed to build on community-based approaches to address violent extremism, promote openness and vigilance and expand upon local initiatives like Montréal’s Mayors’ International Observatory on Living Together.  I am delighted that through the Strong Cities Network, the City of Montréal will more actively share information and best practices with a global network of leaders on critical issues facing our communities.”

The Strong Cities Network will launch on Sept. 29^, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. EDT, following the Leaders’ Summit on Countering ISIL and Violent Extremism.  Welcoming remarks will be offered by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein and Mayor Bill de Blasio of New York City, who will also introduce a Keynote address by U.S. Attorney General Lynch.  

Following this event, the Strong Cities International Steering Committee, consisting of approximately 25 mayors and other leaders from cities and other sub-national entities from around the globe, will hold its inaugural meeting on Sept. 30, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT.
