Sentenced to Life in Prison

Ross Ulbricht, the convicted operator of the underground online black market Silk Road, was sentenced Friday to life in prison, according to WNBC.

That was the maximum sentence Ulbricht faced for seven federal convictions including narcotics trafficking, computer hacking, running a criminal enterprise and money laundering.

Ulbricht, 31, had been convicted in February 2015 on all counts he faced for his role in operating Silk Road -- and facilitating what investigators say totaled more than $200 million in anonymous online drug sales using the digital currency bitcoin. The New York City jury of six men and six women took only a few hours to deliberate and convict Ulbricht on all charges.

"Hastert began making cash payments to the individual, according to the indictment. He withdrew $1.7 million in cash from various domestic bank accounts from 2010 to 2014 and gave it to the person, the indictment said."

"Hastert made 15 withdrawals of $50,000 each from June 2010 until April 2012 when bank representatives, who are required to report cash transactions in excess of $10,000, asked him about the withdrawals, the indictment said. In July 2012, Hastert began to make cash withdrawals in increments under $10,000 each, at least 106 totaling $952,000, the indictment said."

"The indictment said agents asked Hastert to confirm, as he had previously indicated, that he was withdrawing the cash to store it because he did not feel safe with the banking system, and he said: "Yeah ... I kept the cash. That's what I'm doing."

Hi Arnie, I had called you about my foreclosure and a court case being filed in the “fed” district in Houston LAST YEAR. Well, they put in the county records INSIDE a foreclosure sale deed WITHOUT jurisdiction wording, allowing an auction of my property. It’s in appeal now as the justice of the peace ALSO ruled to have the occupants removed and the bank owns the property ALSO NOW IN APPEAL at the same time.

There he is! Bruce Jenner let his hair down and pouted his new fuller lips while filming his new docuseries in Pismo Beach, Calif., with his stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian this past Monday, Jan. 26.
For the outing, the 65-year-old Olympic gold medalist was dressed casually in athletic wear and sneakers. Jenner left his tresses neatly parted down the center and pouted as he strolled through a parking lot with one arm around Khloe. The two seemed to be engrossed in conversation as cameras captured the bonding moment.

Khloe shared photos on Instagram that same day from the action-packed excursion, which she dubbed "father/daughter time." The outing also included a surprise appearance from Scott Disick.

Sonic Drive-In Responds To Pic Of Restaurant’s Disgusting Storage Location......

A Sonic Drive-In in Topeka, Kansas, was the scene of the now-viral (or should I say “bacterial”) pic posted above.

The internet nearly lost its proverbial lunch after seeing the racks of hot dog buns stored right next to a toilet seat in one of the restaurant’s bathrooms.
While it’s understandable if you’re not feeling the extra-long chili cheese coney after this, the company has issued a response, and they assure you there is nothing to worry about.
Manager of Corporate Communications Jason Acock issued this statement on Friday confirming that the incident had been investigated.

“An employee made an error by storing the bread racks in the restroom for 30 minutes. Upon realizing the error, the manager immediately removed the bread from the location and all bread was discarded. The Franchisee will counsel the employee and give additional training to the entire drive-in staff to ensure proper food safety steps are taken moving forward.”

The Sonic Drive-In representative also stated that health inspectors had since been to the restaurant, finding no further safety issues.
“This drive-in has a very strong food safety record and has never had issues with food storage,” he added.
So there you go, readers. Nothing to worry about. Still, that hasn’t stopped many online from declaring they would “never eat there again.”
“Sonic on 29th and gage [sic],” wrote one commenter. “EEWWWWWW!! DON’T EAT THERE!!!”
Commenter Diane Turner doubted the trustworthiness of the Sonic Drive-In statement, stating that “you know d*** well they did not discard the buns.”
Some of the less bright commenters didn’t see the danger, noting that the buns “had plastic on them” while others admonished.

“You don’t think that germs and elimination particles get airborne and land on the plastic? Once the plastic is open those same hands that touch the plastic, touch the buns. That’s why we never sit at the table next to restroom at restaurants or last row of airplane next to bathroom. Why breathe inhale [sic] others potty particles?”

Still others simply had fun at the situation.

“Well, now there’s something soft and absorbent close at hand should they run out of toilet paper!”

Omega-3 Supplements Found To Reduce Aggression and Bad Behavior in Children.........

Omega-3, as well as various other fish oil supplements have risen in global popularity in recent years. Believed to improve circulation around the body, the supplements are often marketed towards improving the function of the heart as well as offering relief from inflammation of conditions such as arthritis, and so have become a staple for many health-conscious vitamin routines. Now, recent studies have found that a daily dose of the vitamin may well reduce poor behaviour in kids with ADHD, including lying and aggression.

Research lead by graduate student Adrian Raine at the University of Pennsylvania suggests that the fatty acid commonly found in fish oils such as Omega-3 may well contribute to healthy neuro-development that could result in long-term changes in antisocial behaviour in children.

“We saw children who had poor nutritional status at age three were more antisocial and aggressive at 8, 11 and 17-years-old”

Raine’s findings spurred further investigation into the positive effects the supplement could offer to non-neurotypical children. The study, based on small island nation Mauritius, offered selected children an Omega-3 based enrichment program, and tracked their progress in response to cognitive stimulation and physical exercise alongside the progress of similar children that did not partake in the supplement enrichment program.
The Omega-3 study found that the enrichment program had garnered impressive results. At 11-years-old, participants who took the fish oil supplements as a part of the program demonstrated marked improvement over their peers who did not go through with the enrichment when undergoing brain function measurement via EEG. Similarly, at 23-years-old the program shows a 34 percent reduction in anti-social or criminal behaviour.

“Omega-3 regulates neurotransmitters, enhances the life of a neuron, and increases dendritic branching, but our bodies do not produce it. We can only get it from the environment,”

Further studies into the potential effects of Omega-3 are currently being conducted. One recent study supplied children between the ages of 8 and 16-years-old with juice cartons, half of which were supplemented with Omega-3. Both before and after six months on the supplement program, participants and their parents underwent personality tests and questionnaires that showed families receiving the additional Omega-3 in their diets reported improved behaviour from the children, including less externalised aggression and lying.
The findings enforce studies in the past that encourage pregnant women to incorporate a little more fish to supplement their diets, as Raine emphasises the nutritional dependency of healthy neural development. Investigation into Omega-3 continues to garner promising results.
The research has offered a becon of hope to parents and children concerned that non-neurotypical disorders, such as ADHD, may leave damaging and long-lasting scars on their future.

World’s Hunger Population Drops Below 800 Million – A First In 25 Years, But The Number Is Still Shocking

The world’s ‘hunger population’ has fallen below 800 million. While this is certainly a first in no less than 25 years since the UN started to keep track, the sheer volume of population that goes hungry is concerning.

The report, called The State of Food Insecurity in the World 2015, indicates that a little less than 800 million people do not have the minimum amount of food for sustenance. While this is the lowest number since the United Nations (UN) first started counting back in 1990, there are still 795 million people worldwide who don’t get nourishment that’s barely enough to survive.
Nonetheless, the number is still 216 million fewer than in 1990-92. Though it might appear to be an insurmountable task, the United Nations is confident that global hunger can be eradicated within a single generation. To support its claim, the UN points out that 72 out of the 129 countries that are being monitored by the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) have halved undernourishment in their populations.
Though a little late (the initial deadline was the year 2000), it is still a better scenario, pointed out Jose Graziano da Silva, the director general of the FAO,

“The near-achievement of the MDG hunger targets shows us that we can indeed eliminate the scourge of hunger in our lifetime. We must be the zero hunger generation.”

The report also indicated that the prevalence of undernourishment in developing regions has almost halved. From 23.3 percent 25 years ago, undernourishment has dropped to 12.9 percent, giving a sold boost to the efforts of the UN to curb world hunger, a menace that largely goes unnoticed amidst the havoc perpetrated by natural calamities and terrorist factions. These hurdles have been marring the progress, says the UN,

“In West Asia, where hygiene conditions are generally advanced and child underweight rates low, the incidence of hunger has risen due to war, civil strife and consequent large migrant and refugee populations in some countries.”

What the report subtly points out is that due to constant infighting between multiple religious fanatics and armed jihadists, local population is often deprived of basic human necessities like food, clothing and shelter.
The primary goal that the UN seems acutely aware of is bringing the direly needed stability in the regions so that food can be safely and steadily provided to the hungry population.
While the UN might succeed in arresting and reversing world hunger, it is the unrest and massacre on an industrial scale that needs to halt.

I am an 82 year old Navy pilot and I am outraged at television's depiction of George Bush Sr.'s Pacific experiences. Now, I hear a book is forthcoming - Unbelievable!! I was in the Pacific at the same time as Bush and flew the same Avenger airplane. A small room in the rear of the Avenger was occupied by the radioman. The gunner went through the room to get up to his turret. Both wore a harness to which a chest type parachute could be attached - The gunner had to come down out of the turret to put on his chute. Bush said he was hit by anti-aircraft fire and the plane caught fire. Bush's squadron was primarily used for patrol and saw very little combat. Bush claimed he warned the crew, over the intercom, to get out - got no answer and he could not yell back because of the armor plate behind him. He decided they were dead, so he bailed out. First, he failed to say he switched his mike from radio to intercom. Then being blocked by the armor is a bold faced lie! There was a sizable gap on either side of the armor. I used this space to call to my crew several times. The tough old Avenger simply did not catch fire!! It had self sealing gas tanks. In six months of operations, I never saw an Avenger catch fire. If the oil or hydraulic systems were damaged, great clouds of white smoke would stream out of the plane. I have no idea how many times i saw planes returning to their carriers trailing smoke but never a fire. What really happened? Itwas the pilots job to hold the plane level and slow it down so the crew could get out. Most certainly, the radioman was helping the gunner with his chute when Bush panicked and left the plane. Then the plane rolled into a dive giving the crew no chance. This story went through the fleet and all the Avenger pilots i knew were shocked at what they heard. I heard speculation of a Courts-Martial. Bush was very young. By his own admission, he reacted under stress. It is terrifying to have the cockpit fill with smoke. Possibly, he can beexcused for reacting to fear and accepting it as another war time tragedy - but he has been glorified on the History channel, a book is being published, and worst of all, an aircraft carrier is to be named for him. This is unbelievable!! Bush performed badly and was certainly no hero.

96 per cent of Americans believe that the U.S. will witness more Baltimore-style riots this summer.

The elite know these riots are coming because, to a large extent, **their policies have created the environment for them.

Wealth inequality, which is proven to cause social unrest, is at its worst since before World War II.

But wealth inequality isn’t caused by a failure of capitalism. It’s caused by catastrophic Keynesian central bank policies that have instituted endless money printing and worldwide inflation.

But by blaming capitalism, leftists who warn about wealth inequality, are playing right into the elite’s hands – because their solution is going to be more power in the hands of the state and central banks, the very same policies which caused the problem in the first place.

Wealth inequality is being exacerbated by a drop in real wages. As real wages fall, it will become increasingly harder to pacify younger generations via consumer culture. With religion, family and social mobility all declining in influence, lifestyles built around the acquisition of products will become harder to maintain as the economic environment worsens – prompting further disenfranchisement amongst young people. (In their thinking, bigger and better cars, shoes, jackets, cell phones, computers, boom boxes and other toys make up for their lack of practical education, job and social skills. The easy way to obtain these things is to break glass windows and doors and steal - even from their own families, friends and neighborhoods.)

This effect is amplified by the global political awakening acknowledged by 'elitists' like Zbigniew Brzezinski (a hardline communist working to manipulate and control humanity), a political renaissance that has been driven by the increasingly widespread availability of information thanks to the Internet.

This awakening has in turn led to more distrust in government and leadership in the United States and other western countries – another precondition for civil unrest.

The toxic cocktail of increased corruption, social alienation, and lack of community (all contributory factors to the 2011 London riots), will heighten the risk of domestic disorder.

In an effort to derail this organic global political awakening, 'elitists' like George Soros, who predicted class war and riots over three years ago, are bankrolling what on the surface appear to be grass roots uprisings in an effort to steer and divert their impact.

This is why #BlackLivesMatter – funded to the tune of $33 million dollars by Soros – has increasingly become about toxic racial division instead of addressing the true causes of police brutality).

An uprising that could have been centered on reducing state power has instead been hijacked from below by criminal opportunists and from above by the 'elite' itself.

Now that this uprising has been subverted, the 'elite' will use the fallout – violent riots and looting in major cities across America – to enlist support from average Americans for an increase in state power and, in the aftermath of the next financial collapse, economic totalitarianism, government controlled bank accounts, and a move towards banning cash altogether. It’s the age old problem = reaction-solution method at play once again. They’re getting ready to re-brand authoritarianism as a populist policy and the majority of Americans will lap it up once they see more cities burning.

As Brandon Smith explains, “The international banking cult has NO INTEREST whatsoever in saving the current system, despite the assumptions of many market analysts. Their only goal has been to stave off the visible effects of the crisis until a new system is ready (psychologically justified in the public consciousness) to be put into place.”

This new system will be characterized by more authoritarianism, a bigger police state and less economic freedom (AND DEFINITELY FAR LESS FREEDOM FOR HUMANITY OF ALL RACES).

We know that the 'elite' are expecting this crisis because they’ve made preparations to deal with the fallout.

The New York Times reported that the wealthy are installing expensive bulletproof safe rooms in their luxury apartments and homes to protect against increased criminality, looting, and physical threats to their safety.

Economist Robert Johnson also revealed that 'elitists' at the Davos Economic Forum told him they were buying remote hideaways in places like New Zealand to escape potential Ferguson-style uprisings on a bigger scale.

When asked, realtors selling this property said their wealthy clients were making these purchases because they were “paranoid” about “what is happening around them.”

Urban unrest experts like Dr. Max Herman say that the United States is on the cusp of a new cycle of civil unrest. Economist Martin Armstrong predicts that “a serious political uprising will erupt by 2016″ in the United States.

I wouldn’t go that far, but it’s virtually guaranteed that we will see more widespread domestic disorder over the next two years if we continue to follow these disastrous Keynesian economic policies and allow populist social justice movements to be hijacked and subverted by the powers that be.
