Your chance to read a secret Pentagon document

Does your government protect you from enemies or create them? #ISIS Retweet

You're about to read excerpts from a formerly secret Pentagon document. This document is an analysis created by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). It dates from August 12, 2012, long before ISIS became a major news story. The document was obtained in a Freedom of Information Request by Judicial Watch, a conservative organization. Judicial Watch has used this document to criticize Hillary Clinton's handling of the Benghazi embassy controversy. But it's real value lies elsewhere.

This document shows that the U.S. and its allies have supported Al-Qaeda associated elements in Syria, even though they knew this would lead to the rise of ISIS and the creation of an Islamic State in Syria.

The DIA identifies the combatants in Syria on page 3...

"The Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI (Al-Qaeda in Iraq) are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria."
On page 5 the DIA says that...

"With support from Russia, China, and Iran, the (Syrian) regime is controlling the areas of influence along the coastal territories..."

And in a page 3 passage too complex to quote, the DIA identifies a leader of Islamic State in Iraq (what we now know as ISIS) as also being a spokesperson for Al-Qaeda.

In other words...

Russia, China, and Iran are supporting the existing Syrian government against an insurgency that is being led by various kinds of salafists (Islamic fundamentalists) -- the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda in Iraq, and the Islamic State (ISIS).

Then, the following statement appears on page 5 of the DIA document...

"Opposition forces are trying to control the eastern areas (of Syria). Western countries, the Gulf States, and Turkey are supporting these efforts."
Western countries means the United States, Britain, and other European nations. Turkey and the Gulf States are all U.S. allies armed and partially funded by American taxpayers.

To sum it up...

Your "government" has been knowingly supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, and ISIS in Syria!

But it gets worse. Page 5 of the DIA document makes a prediction...

"If the situation unravels there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared salafist principality in Eastern Syria (Hasaha and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia Expansion (Iraq and Iran)."
This section is telling you that the U.S. and its allies have supported Al-Qaeda and ISIS with the intention of creating an Islamic State in Eastern Syria. Why? Because the Syrian government is allied with the Shia Muslims in Iraq and Iran. In other words...

U.S. leaders decided to support Al-Qaeda and ISIS (Sunni muslims) in order to blunt Iran's influence, which is mediated through Shia muslims in the area. And it gets worse! The DIA goes on to advise...

"The deterioration of the situation has direct consequences on the Iraqi situation and are as follows...

"This creates the ideal atmosphere for AQI (Al-Qaeda in Iraq) to return to its old pockets in Mosul and Ramadi, and will provide a renewed momentum under the presumption of unifying the Jihad among Sunni Iraq and Syria, and the rest of the Sunnis in the Arab world against what it considers one enemy, the dissenters (anyone who disagrees with salafist Islam). ISI could also declare an Islamic State through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria, which will create grave danger in regards to unifying Iraq and the protection of its territory."

That means…

The Obama administration was warned in advance by the Defense Intelligence Agency that this policy would assist Al-Qaeda and ISIS while endangering the U.S. backed government in Iraq.

But they did it anyway!

Have you had enough yet? Are you tired of trusting the politicians with your security? Do you still trust them to police the world? If so, you may naturally wonder...
