Too Senile for Child-Sex Trial, Well Enough for High Office

The UK's Crown Protection Services
says they're declining to prosecute
Greville Janner, an 86-year-old
member of the House of Lords, on
child sex allegations because the
lord suffers from dementia. Though
Janner's Labour Party is distancing
itself from the lord and his 22 counts
of indecent assault or buggery, his
dementia has not up until this point
offered him sufficient reason to
resign his position.
