After A Tsunami Wiped Out A 200 Year-Old Company, Competitors Helped Them Rebuild

An award winning Japanese soy sauce company lost everything in the 2011 Tsunami. The entire town, including the 200 year-old factory, was completely destroyed.
With support from all over Japan, the company is now rebuilding. Competitors - yes, competitors - provided soy products allowing them to build a new factory and continue trading. One of Japan's largest department stores chose to pay more than the asking price for their products. The local bank manager swore a solemn oath to protect the Kono family from bankruptcy.
