He said Pentagon spokesman Admiral John Kirby said in a statement quoted by Reuters, said that "two military planes Americas waged an air strike, today, on sites artillery used by the organization the Islamic State (Daash) in the attack on the Kurdish forces that defend the city of Arbil, near the site of the concentration of military Americans".
وأضاف كيربي أن "طائرتين إف/ايه-18 اسقطتا قنابل موجهة بالليزر زنة الواحدة 500 رطل على قطعة مدفعية متنقلة قرب اربيل". Kirby added that "two F / A-18 shot down laser-guided bombs each weighing 500 lbs on a mobile artillery piece near Arbil."
وأشار الى أن "مسلحي الدولة الاسلامية يستخدمون المدفعية في قصف القوات الكردية التي تتولى الدفاع عن اربيل حيث يتمركز عسكريون أميركيون"، موضحا أن "قائد القيادة المركزية اتخذ قرار الضربة الجوية بموجب تصريح من قائد الأركان". He pointed out that "the Islamic State militants using artillery to bombard Kurdish forces, which holds the defense of Arbil, where the American military are stationed," explaining that "the commander of Central Command, made the decision to blow air under the permission of the chief of staff."

وامر الرئيس الامريكي باراك اوباما، فجر اليوم الجمعة، بتوجيه ضربات جوية "مستهدفة" ضد عناصر تنظيم "داعش" في شمال العراق، بالاضافة الى عمليات اسقاط جوي لامدادات انسانية الى اقليات دينية محاصرة هناك لمنع "عمل محتمل للابادة الجماعية". He ordered President Barack Obama, on Friday morning, air strikes "targeted" against members of the organization "Daash" in northern Iraq, in addition to dropping aerial operations for humanitarian supplies to the besieged religious minorities there to prevent "the work of a possible genocide."
