As if the Obama administration’s purchase of more than 2 billion rounds of ammunition, and nearly 3,000 urban tanks, along with their unprecedented (and highly illegal) domestic spyingprogram was not enough to convince you that the federal government is about to suspend the Constitution once and for all, the man who once vowed to run “the most transparent administration in history” has just rather inexplicably, ordered the U.S. Army to seize every Apache attack helicopter currently in use by the National Guard.
In all, the Defense Department will confiscate 192 Apaches from National Guard units around the country and give them to the active duty Army.
In exchange for the heavily armed and highly maneuverable choppers, Guard units will receive 111 UH-60 Blackhawk transport helicopters from the Army, Defense One reports.
Last week, U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee, claiming that the measure will save taxpayers $12 billion, over the next three years.
Of course, when one considers that this ‘cost saving’ move comes from an administration which regularly runs trillion-dollar deficits and, to date, has proposed no less than 442 tax increases since taking office in January 2009, the idea of saving money for the American taxpayer is a bit hard to swallow.
So, what could be another, more reasonable explanation?
The Apache, which began service in 1986, is armed with a 30 mm M230E1 Chain Gun (with 1,200 rounds), Hellfire anti-tank missiles, and 70 general-purpose 70 mm rockets. In short, it is capable of fending-off any enemy, foreign or domestic.
Obviously, these helicopters could pose a substantial obstacle to say, a tyrant drunk on his own power, with an army at his disposal.
With the recent, attempted seizure of the Bundy family ranch in Nevada by more than 200 armed federal officers, including many snipers, we know that the Obama administration is not afraid to use force against the American people.
Furthermore, considering the unprovoked attacks and murders of U.S. citizens on their own property by federal agents, such as the Ruby Ridge and Waco massacres, we also know that the federal government has no problem suspending due process and using lethal force on its own citizens. Couple that with the as yet, unexplained, massive arms buildup by the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Defense Authorization Act which allows the feds to arrest and detain any U.S. citizen indefinitely without charges, and even the most establishment-minded American should be able to see what is coming.
There are a few governors around the country who would not stand for martial-law being arbitrarily declared by this or any president, but without any teeth (i.e. Apache attack helicopters) what could they use to stop Obama’s tyranny?

I just read that the National Sheriff’s Association awarded the “Sheriff of the Year” award to Doug Gillespie of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Was that before or after his disgraceful performance at the federal siege of the Bundy Ranch in northern Clark County?
Sheriff Gillespie would be about at the bottom of anyone’s list of outstanding law officers, after first refusing to even show up at the massive stand-off, saying it was none of his business what the feds did in his county. Then, after he was forced to participate, he announced he had made a deal with the BLM and the cattle would be returned to the rightful owner. But, when the time came to release the cattle, Gillespie’s representative said that was not going to happen.
So, we know Sheriff Gillespie does not seem to understand that the County Sheriff is the foremost law enforcement officer in the county. Not the feds, not the state police, but the County Sheriff. Gillespie needs to go to Pahrump, in Nye County, and get a little briefing from Tony DeMeo, or perhaps call Sheriff Richard Mack, to find out how a county sheriff properly executes his duties to the people of his county.
We also know, from his actions in Bunkerville, that he is a liar, and probably much worse, as it appears that he was trying to set up a bloody confrontation between the BLM hired mercenaries and the militia assisting the rancher. At the time Gillespie announced he had “made a deal” with the BLM and that everyone would stand down, he secretly had an MRAP vehicle and SWAT team secreted at an Interstate 15 exit just down the road from Bunkerville.
Sheriff Gillespie is also a board member of BLM, and sits on the board of the Southern Poverty Law Center, a most despicable organization in any patriotic American’s book. How can a county sheriff be a board member of the BLM, while adequately serving the people of the county that elected him? Is that not a conflict of interest? Not to mention aligning himself with the SPLC, an organization that even the FBI has dropped it from its list of consultants because information provided by SPLC was found not to be credible.
But your organization chooses this lying, duty-shirking, treasonous, boot-licking son-of-a-bitch as your “2014 Sheriff of the Year”? Of all the many, many honorable, hard-working, duty-conscious men and women who daily put their lives on the line for the American people who elected them, you give an award to this two-faced wart on the ass of mankind? I know for a fact, having lived in Las Vegas for more than 20 years, that a number of his own officers don’t trust him and don’t like serving under him.
Who chose him for this award, Mrs. Gillespie? You people are pathetic.

There is no way these governors should trade these Apache attack helicoptors for "transport" helicopters. That would be the dumb move that would end America and American's lives. Posession is 9/10 of the law. Keep them where they are or hide them. This Obama usurper who is still living in the White House is "the thing that wouldn't leave." He was not even born in America, and he has been pegged as a communist double-agent for Russia, and he is trying to undermine America's defenses, kill the people, and let China take over America. If these Governors have any testosterone left in their bodies, they will NOT obey this imposter!! Someone BOLD will have to show this imposter the way OUT, if it means sending him to hell where he belongs or some other means
