Boogie On Two Pianos ---- If this doesn't getcha movin' you're already dead

Oh, come on.... You remember this music when we were growing up
If this doesn't getcha movin' you're already dead :-)
Boogie On Two Pianos

Some of you will remember, as I do, dancing all night to music like this at the Saturday night Sock Hops. The girls wore  ponytails, bobby socks with saddle shoes or penny loafers...midi length full skirts with lots of petticoats.  The guys had  hair slicked back with Wildroot Cream Oil, .. .a pack of Lucky Strikes or Camels folded into the cuff of a short sleeved shirt and if he was really cool, a single cigarette behind an ear.  The most popular guy at school wasn't  always the football hero but more often, the guy who had a car.

There were good girls and bad girls...boys were "just sowing their wild oats."  Fountain Cokes cost five cents and the movie ten cents for a double feature, newsreel, cartoon, coming attractions and a serial.  About the only after school sponsored activities were Football and Band.  Damn and  Hell were the really bad cuss words.  Adults were responded to with  Maam and Sir.   If you got in trouble at school, you got in trouble at home big time!  Oh my, I could go on and on, but you remember...don't you ???

Boogie On Two Pianos
  GOOD OLD DAYS
  BOOGIE  WOOGIE
You don't hear Boogie Woogie like this much any more. And not likely that you've heard it played on twin pianos.
