This is an excerpt of an inaugural address given by the newly elected president in the "IRON WEB", a novel written by Mr. Larken Rose. I highly recommend it.
I will believe we are making progress when I begin to see the number of popular votes being greatly diminished. I hope I live long enough to see a president elected by a land slide victory of 5 votes to 2. But, by then, he won't matter any way.
How can ANYONE argue with this...this well-thought out, put together and impassioned delivery? He basically has put into words my attitude I've had since I woke up and looked around after 9/11 when shit just didn't add up, when I choked on what the state-controlled mouthpieces explained away with officious, smug voices...when I saw the 'conspiracy theories' becoming FACT, one after the other, faster and faster, and yet NO ONE WAS QUESTIONING ANYTHING!!! And so, here we all are. What will YOU choose to do when THEY come for your guns, your stores of food, your material possessions THEY label as 'hoarding', branding you an Enemy of the State for having and maintaining? I know where I will stand...I WILL DIE UPON MY FEET AS MY LAST ACT OF LIBERTARIAN, GOD-GIVEN DEFIANCE RATHER THAN EXIST UPON MY KNEES IN GROVELLING SUBSERVIENCE TO THE STATE (THE CORPORATION)..
