Traveling the SouthLand & Seeing The Devastation Most do NOT See.

Dear Patriots (bcc herein w/permission to forward),

Over the years I have made it a practice of traveling throughout the South as President of The Confederate Society of America.

I make it a practice of visiting those Towns that are ‘off the beaten track’ because that is where the real America still resides.

There you can Truly see what has happened to OUR Country as many of these Towns & Hamlets are shells of their former selves with more business’s CLOSED rather than open and a vast majority of shops and stores FOR RENT rather than Occupied.

And within each, wherein hardly a soul can be seen other than a few, the Only Entities that bear witness to any traffic is the Court House, a Drug Store and a BANK.

Funny how Devastation, regarding ‘some’ things, Never Changes.
It reminds me of the stories my Father told me regarding the Great Depression and what they had to endure.

I still have many of the ‘Rationing Stamps’ that my Father kept from that time that were handed out by the ‘Government’ as the Great Depression was ‘being merged’ into WW II. Do y’all remember them?

One such Town I visited recently was Newton, North Carolina.
As I was standing on the Street Corner across from the Catawba County Court House, the local ‘Traffic Agent’, wearing his uniform of old, was still ‘patrolling’ the streets, albeit Empty, insuring that the one or two cars parked would not exceed their parking time despite the fact that numerous parking spots were empty.

He was NOT the ‘type’ of agent you would associate with the modern day ‘meter maid’.
Sadly, he would be the last of his kind if in y’all know what I mean?

He stopped by to talk with me.
His name was Ken C. and he was near 70 or so and a Southern Man who, despite his age, time had NOT diminished his wisdom to think and apply the common sense that was once the major ingredient of this Republic’s character.
  He was very, very angry.

We talked and commiserated for nearly an hour and we talked about a Country that we BOTH knew was disappearing from the face of the Earth.

Two strangers, both Confederate, but with the same Love for a Land that was being raped, pillaged & taken from us.

He said to me, in his deep Southern Drawl, But what is all wrong with the People in this Country that they NO longer can see? How’s it so they have forgott’en anything they ever knew? Didn’t we raise ‘em better than that? Don’t they know when they’d be gett’en a screwen…..but then again, as he said, just be a looken at our Histery- hell they’d be still a think’en we fought a War for some‘thin we Never had an interest in….guess it all fits don’t it Sir?

Funny thing about the South, the folks in these towns still call anyone by Sir.
Strange isn’t it, that these are the same fine folks who have been so demonized, stereo-typed and scoffed at by the very people who are, as he put it, be a screwen everyone nowadays.”

At every ole town in the South, there usually stands A Confederate Monument on the Court House Grounds.

I find the inscriptions on them, as well as the statues themselves, to be a timely beauty and a reminder of a Republic who once knew who it was.
This statue, as others I have seen, once more confirmed what I speak of-
On it, the Inscription read:

NO BRAVER BLED
FOR BRIGHTER LAND,
NOR BRIGHTER LAND
HAD A CAUSE SO GROUND

It was erected on August 15th, 1907 and was dedicated to The Confederate Soldiers of Catawba County 1861-1865.
  They included Company A- 12th Regiment; Co. F- 23rd Regiment; Co. C- 28th Regiment; Co. E- 32nd Regiment; Co. E- 57th Regiment; Co. F- 32nd Regiment;
Co. F- 38th Regiment; Co. K- 46th Regiment; Co. I- 49th Regiment and Co. E- 72 Regiment.

Today, statues like this one and so many more have become targets of the Left whose Political Prognosis would state they are a BLIGHT on the Human Condition and want them taken down and removed.

And as another Southern Boy told me just the other day, who works nearly 7 days a week breaking his back to bring in what little he can make, that he was asked  “to remove his, as he called it, Rebel Tag on his Truck where he was ‘do’en’ some alteration work in the Section 8 Housing complex.”

There’s YOUR Political Correctness at work Once Again and it exists EVERYWHERE. Helluva difference from the Inscription on that Statue from 1907 till now…..WOULDN’T YOU SAY?

Yeah, this is where YOU will find the real America and see the continued effects of RECONSTRUCTION…..AND TRANSFORMATION!

And while Y’all are play’en make believe convincing yourselves that another of Obama’s multi-million dollar vacation trips is OK, y’all think about these Real Towns across America that represent the Rape and Pillage resulting from a National Government who long ago sold this Country OUT-
lock, stock and proverbial barrel.

Y’all think about that long and hard and remember who it has been who has tried to remind y’all of what in the hell has been going on for near 150 years now.

As the ole saying goes- it’s Not until ole Brer Fox starts feed’en from y’all’s Hen House that y’all start pay’en attention.

One thing about the South and her Confederacy, they are timeless and they are ageless….and THEY DON’T FORGOT!
