no inslut intended.
how many were really in the front lines of the battlefield to actualy see blood and death around them.

it is still an honor, never the lest to be in the service of forced enlistment of a soldler. i believe in the times before clinton, there was a manitory draft to millitary service until 1972. obvious is the fact their status of family could have refused the draft but these guys did not, for whatever reason.

At the end of the day, who will best serve this country? The day will come where serving in the military will not be such an honour considering the atrocities the wars allow soldiers to participate. We as human and especially as citizens of the most civilized country in the world should regard warfare and all its byproducts as positions to be ashamed of for we have failed in resolving our issues civilly. If one tries to understand the reason behind the use of our military, one would not be as proud to cite it as honourous as we have in this country. What will it take for Americans to wake up. We live in a country where a fraction of the military expenditure could fund health care for everyone, the money we spend for prisoners could pay for free education...

What surprises me the most is the people who know these realities are the ones perpetrating these lies. They know that this country is the most economically advantaged country in the world. There is enough money in the US to make certain no citizens fall into sub-human condition.

Here is the saddest part, a great majority of middle class Americans aligned itself with the people whom they are making rich by backing them up in their campaign to keep us in a permanent state of financial slavery.

Now about Obama: there will be announcements, disclosures to satisfy everyone. Some will be shocked and some will have to invest in a stock pile of depends. Things are not the way they seem. REMEMBER THESE WORDS.

"Most civilized country in the world," where did that come from?

" There is enough money in the US to make certain no citizens fall into sub-human condition." And I say, there are 21,000 homeless vets in Los Angles County alone. Do we look civilized? Where is the help for them?

I served and was not drafted, when the war started I joined to serve my country. Yes Viet Nam was all lies but who new at the time. We were played. Ken
