American Girl Punished in Texas for refusing to say Mexican Anthem.

America bows down to no one. This child should not have been made to do anything like that. If the mexicans don't like that, then they need to go back to their own land. This is AMERICA.

What the heck is going on down in Texas? First burkas' being worn in World Geography, Really? What does Burkas' have to to with world geography, Now you have to pledge to another country? What happened to America, and only pledging to America. Being 1/4 mexican by heritage, I wouldn't pledge to anything else but the USA.

A Texas high school student has filed a federal lawsuit against her school and her teachers after she was punished for refusing to salute and recite the Mexican pledge of allegiance.
The Thomas More Law Center filed the suit on behalf of Brenda Brinsdon alleging the McAllen Independent School District violated the 15-year-old girl’s constitutional rights when she was forced to recite the Mexican pledge and sing the Mexican national anthem.
Brinsdon, who is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant and an American father, refused. She believed it was un-American to pledge a loyalty oath to another country.
Ironically, the school district has a policy that prohibits a school from compelling students to recite the American Pledge of Allegiance.

Until I see proof of this lawsuit, I believe it to just be another scare tactic and trying to get us to start a civil war. That 's what they are best at.

Both administraitor and teacher should be fired and sent back to the nation of their heritage, which doesn't seem to be the United States of America.
