THERE "MIGHT" be some TRUTH to this "RUMOR"

A Marine Col advised me THIS DATE that he is preparing "Legal Pleadings" for  defense of "MARINE CORPS" 0-6 Cols and 1-Star Generals who "SUPPORTED" the actions of the Admiral and the Brig General USA. in references to actions occurring in Benghazi and other activities in the Middle Eastern nations, to include Afghanistan and Pakistan.

PLEASE NOTE: This is like in a Civilian Court where one litigant fighting another litigant and one side wants information but the other side says its privy OR "IRRELEVANT and BIAS" demands by the party seeking data / information.

Be it known that police and military take the "MILITARY OATH OF OFFICE," which is specific
"... ALL enemies Foreign and DOMESTIC..." pursuant to CONGRESSIONAL ORDER and MANDATING  minor changes to the Original Oath of 1789 and modified in 1830, Further minor changes in 1950

HOWEVER:  "... ALL Enemies Foreign and DOMESTIC..." was ORIGINALLY successfully DEBATED by Gen. John Jay in 1789 prior to the ratification of today's Constitution with Amendments.

General John Jay and General George Washington stood together KNOWING that at some time in the future the NEED of the Honest Military Leaders might have to enact their "DUTY TO DEFEND" the CONSTITUTION of the united STATES of AMERICA.

Ladies and Gentlemen - "WE the PEOPLE" are witnessing what OUR FOUNDING FATHERS ENVISIONED for it was the first Oath of the Continental Army 1775 voted on 14 June 1775 as part of the act creating the Continental Army and then enhanced by the Continental Congress of October 1776 (which ALL MARINES TOOK - Officer and Enlisted beginning at our founding Nov 10, 1775.)

Then, in 1798, upon the recommission of the United States Marine Corps Lt. Col  William W. Burrows as COMMANDANT issued his first Order that "ALL MARINES would accept and honor the nation by taking the Oath of Allegiance to the Nation in which to protect the people of the united States of America and accept the responsibility of protecting the People from enemies both Foreign and Domestic and, as such, the DUTY OF THE CORPS was to the PEOPLE and NOT the politicians...."

TO ALL MARINES............... LEAST WE FORGET
