A Message from Blue Cross Blue Shield.......

Just a friendly reminder as to who exactly is throwing grandma/pa under the bus!!!!!!!!
A Message from Blue Cross Blue Shield.......
More good news on Obamacare.
A message from Blue Cross Blue Shield
MEDICARE
Look clearly at the 2014 rate compared to the 2013 rate.
For those of you who are on Medicare, read the following.

It's short, but important and you probably haven't heard about it in the Mainstream News:

"The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the presentMonthly Fee of

$96.40, rising to

$104.20 in 2012,

$120.20 in 2013

and then on up to

$247.00 in 2014."

These are Provisions incorporated in the Obamacare Legislation, purposely delayed, so as not to confuse the 2012 Re-Election Campaigns.
Send this to all Seniors that you know, so they will know who's throwing them under the bus.

Looks like my congressman in Washington, D.C. is about to get another letter from me and a link to this article. Actually, the nice Senator is against Obamacare, too.

This is not true.

Snopes, com, the urban legend website rates this claim as false. Check this link: http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/medicare.asp

The Annenberg Public Policy Center, which is a nonpartisan monitor of political statements based at the University of Pennsylvania, also finds the message false. See http://www.factcheck.org/2011/04/premium-nonsense-on-medicare/

AARP says it isn’t true:
http://www.aarp.org/health/medicare-insurance/info-05-2011/medicare-part-b-premiums.html AARP goes on to explain what high-income Medicare recipients will be paying but since that’s less than 1 in 20 of us, and certainly not me, I didn’t try to figure that out.

According to a Boston Globe e-columnist, the Blue Cross logos got put on the message when a Blue Cross employee (poor Peggy Riehle, I assume) forwarded the message. See http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/health/health_stew/2012/04/anatomy_of_another_aca_lie.html

Readers: The Annenberg Public Policy Center and AARP are NOT nonpartisan organizations. Both are in the tank for Obama and Obamacare. Be careful about their so-called unbiased opinions. AARP heads are extremely liberal Democrats and have been directing the organization straight "forward" to Obama policies. Just a warning that you should check out these organizations for yourself and read about the backgrounds of who is running them.
